Welcome to Almaden Summer Horse Camp hosted at Almaden Equestrian Center in the Almaden Valley. We are excited to offer Summer Horse Camps for children ages 6-16 for the 2013 Summer season.
Our SUMMER HORSE PROGRAM is a fantastic way for children to learn riding and develop higher level riding skills. We have lots of fun with riding and the job of caring for some very sweet horses. Our lessons in western, english or bareback start at the beginning levels and can advance to higher levels. Each child is evaluated for his/her ability and placed in a group that matches their age the skill of the child. For kids who like horses, nothing can create memories of a lifetime like attending a quality Horse Summer Camp. Enjoy all the fun a quality horse summer camp has to offer and improve riding skills and knowledge of horses at the same time. Summers spent at a riding camp can create friendships and experiences that you will cherish forever.This Season's Summer Camp will have exciting shows, demonstration's, horse related games, crafts and more. We will educate your children on the knowledge and hard work it takes to properly care for our equine buddies.
Almaden Equestrian Center (AEC) is located in the Almaden Valley. AEC is a friendly family orientated horse boarding facility. You will find a wide variety of disciplines from Dressage to Western. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel at home. AEC has a large outdoor arena, smaller covered arena and round pen. There is plenty of room to ride horses on the 6 acre ranch. AEC also has a community snack shack that has a full size refrigerator, microwave, and running water. There is a picnic area with shade for eating lunch and taking breaks.
